MAFP Supports Immunization Education Bill

Family physicians, it’s time to speak up to make sure your patients are getting the information that they need about vaccinations. HF 1182 will be heard in the Minnesota House Health and Human Services Policy Committee on March 8, 2019.

This legislation will provide funding to the Minnesota Department of Health and community-based organizations to promote the benefits of immunization for communities most at-risk. The education efforts will be focused upon geographic areas or populations experiencing or at-risk of experiencing an outbreak of a vaccine-preventable disease.

Take Action

Contact your representative(s). Make sure they understand the importance of vaccines and the ramifications of permissive vaccine laws in Minnesota. Encourage them to support HF 1182.
